URGENT IMPORTANT MEETING INVITATION

TUESDAY 25TH SEPTEMBER @ 8pm – Foxrock Church Hall

Planned Road Changes – Entering/Exiting Tudor Lawns Safety Issues/Hiring of Consultants

The Committee has been actively engaged in trying to get the best solution for Tudor Lawns residents in relation to the planned changes at the roundabout/Leopardstown Road/Tudor Lawns entrance for several months.  The Committee needs to get a consensus from the Residents on a potential significant spend in relation to the hiring of professional consultants to prepare and present its case to the planned An Bord Pleanála oral hearing on these changes.  The closing date for submission is October 2nd which is the reason for the very short notice of this meeting.

A decision will be taken at the meeting on whether to engage professional experts to enable the Residents make the best possible case to the oral hearing.  We would like to see as many as possible attend this short meeting as this is your opportunity to input to this important decision.

“Grow Your Own Herbs & Vegetables – Planting Event”

We have purchased 3 vegetable planters for the common areas.  They are located at the seating areas on the green.  We plan to grow some herbs and vegetables in these planters so that the children in the estate will learn where the food comes from and how to grow it.  The planting will take place, WEATHER PERMITTING” at 3 pm on Saturday 21st May.  Everyone is welcome to attend this event with children being especially welcome.  All children must be supervised and accompanied by an adult for their safety.  If it is raining the planting will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday 28th May.  This is one of our specific projects as part of our tidy districts entry for 2010 so we plan to take some photos on the day for the website.
